π Season Summary
The 1998 NFFA Youth Flag League was a showcase of dominant performances and emerging rivalries. In the Northern Conference, the Doncaster Wildcats were completely unstoppable β going undefeated with a 9β0 record, scoring 340 points and allowing just 8 all season. They were joined in the playoffs by the strong UCLA Renegades, who dropped only two games and put up solid offensive numbers.
In the Southern Conference, the Brighton B-52s led the charge, finishing at 6β2, while the Fen Harriers edged out Milton Keynes to grab the final playoff spot.
The semi-finals demonstrated Doncasterβs power as they crushed Fen Harriers 66β0, while UCLA pulled off an overtime thriller against Brighton 26β20 to reach the championship game.
